Short Description
A guided tour to discover monuments of the historic center and contemporary art in Favara, enriched by local tastings and a workshop to fill your own cannolo.
Full Description
The city tour offers a pleasant walk that will allow you to reach the beautiful Renaissance church, the “Chiesa Madre,” with its distinctive dome (one of the largest in Sicily), and then discover Piazza Cavour, the beating heart of the city.
You can also admire the Chiaromonte Castle, which has been the home of many historical families and their fascinating stories, as well as the surprising Mendola Baron’s Library, a great benefactor of Favara. During this walk through the narrow streets of the historic center, various tasting experiences will not be missed.
During this tour, every guest becomes the undisputed protagonist of the king of Sicilian pastries. You will fill your own cannolo with fresh ricotta cream, learn to decorate it with orange peel and pistachio crumbs, and finally savor it in all its goodness!
This tour also includes a visit to the Farm Cultural Park, a contemporary art museum responsible for the revitalization of Favara, a must-see destination for contemporary art lovers and not!
