It was created for those who do not want to follow the usual tourist routes, but who want to live authentic experiences, connect with local people, and discover the customs, traditions, and stories that make every community unique.

We are a community of people who want to experience — and help others experience — the most authentic side of Sicily.
On one side, there are the Local Wayers: curious travellers who want to go beyond postcard Sicily, discovering villages, stories, and authentic places through the eyes of the people who live there every day.
On the other, there are the Local Advisors: people who live in the area, know its secrets, flavours, and stories, and open the doors of Sicily to those who do not want to stop at the surface.
Through the Local Way app, small Sicilian villages, farms, artisan workshops, associations, guides, restaurant owners, and local businesses can become part of a network capable of turning a trip into a human, authentic, and meaningful experience.
