Clay modeling workshop

A hands-on workshop to learn key ceramic techniques and create a clay object by hand, including a finished ceramic piece to take home.

The activity takes place entirely inside the artisan workshop and focuses on manual creation. After an initial theoretical introduction to the stages of ceramic processing and the main manipulation techniques, it will be time for action. Each participant will model an object of their choice from scratch, such as a tile, a small bowl, a saucer, or a small trinket box, working the fresh clay freehand or using the professional tools of the studio.

To ensure maximum attention and continuous support, the workshop accommodates a maximum of two people at a time (larger groups will take turns). At the end of the experience, each participant will receive a pre-finished ceramic object as a gift, similar to the one modeled on-site.

1. Introduction to pottery techniques: Learn about the stages of ceramic production and fundamental hand-building methods.

2. Guided sculpting workshop: Hands-on session where you craft a piece of your choice from scratch (tile, small bowl, saucer, or keepsake box).

3. Materials & professional tools included: Full access to fresh clay and authentic studio tools provided by the workshop.

4. Small-group experience: Designed for up to 2 participants at a time (or managed in turns) to ensure personalized instruction.

5. Complimentary finished ceramic gift: Receive a fully finished, fired ceramic piece as a take-home souvenir at the end of the session.
