A hands-on experience suitable for the whole family to live a full day on a local farm, participating in milking, shearing, and a fresh ricotta workshop.

You will be guided into the heart of the Santo Stefano Quisquina territory to take a break from the routine and experience a full day inside a local livestock farm. This hiking and experiential activity is designed to let you discover up close the daily life of the Sicani Mountains shepherds, through direct involvement in all farm duties. The experience, accessible and highly educational, is particularly suitable for children and families. Please note: the indicated address is exclusively the meeting place, from which we will move together by car towards the farm.

The day begins in the morning and you will be active protagonists right from the start: you will try your hand at manual milking and, depending on the period, you can assist and collaborate in the shearing of the sheep. Next, we will move to the workshop to start traditional dairy production. You will work the raw material starting from the curd to arrive at the preparation of warm ricotta cheese. Lunch and breaks will be the opportunity to taste the farm's fresh products. The activity continues in the afternoon among the slow rhythms of the countryside and animal care, ending at sunset with the return of the herd, to let you leave with the authentic memory of a day lived according to the rhythms of nature.
